PRINT WORK
Working at a corporate industrial printers as a graphic designer for a year gave me unbelievable experience collaborating with huge clients such as Greene King and Macmillan cancer support.
My job got me working with all sorts of different brand guidelines and consulting with high level marketing managers.

JOB ROLES
I had three main rolls at Print Works:
DIRECT TO PRINT
This entailed taking templated artwork and resizing it for a specific layout.

SPECIAL REQUEST
This was where I would be given a brief and would work off brand guidelines to create the artwork. This could often come from marketing managers or development managers and would become templates for future orders.

MULTI ORDER
A multi order was the most important task. This would entail me doing either of the above but for multiple sites, sometimes numbering in the hundreds.
BUSINESS CARDS
I designed, developed and produced business cards for many industries and companies, often with interactive QR codes. Sometimes I would develop bespoke templates for multiple sites.
CLOTHING
The Print Shop was a fantastic way to get more experience in printing garments. The Print Shop department usually turned my designs into client products but I was able to print my own products out of hours. I took full advantage of this which was great as it meant I got to create items I normally wouldn't have the opportunity to fabricate, and I always love seeing my illustrations on different types of prints.

MARKETING WORK
I have worked on marketing for multiple companies as a freelance designer and through corporate marketing agencies, take a look at some of my work.
MOURNE DEW DISTILLERY
Mourne Dew Distillery is an Irish Gin Company that brew its own gin, I was lucky enough to fly to Ireland in 2021 where I got to work with their team. I was given a tour of their distillery which allowed me to take some videos and shots of the place. I also went out into the Mourne Mountains to get shots for their marketing, this was a breath-taking experience.
REDROUTE
I worked at RedRoute as the head graphic designer. While I was there I was asked to re-brand the company and I worked with multiple clients.
REBRANDING
My biggest role at Red Route was leading the company rebranding, as its graphics were outdated and incohesive. The only asset I wasn't allowed to touch was the original logo. which I used to base the brand around.

The logo has an arrow which I wanted to use as the main motif for the business and base the branding around. I saw the arrow as a great visual to represent the core values of the company - efficient and quick marketing.
ZOOMIES DOG CARE
I have worked freelance for multiple small companies. Zoomies Dog Care is a local dog walking business. I have produced all their social marketing and developed their brand, and even worked on their print and merchandise.
BRANDING
Zoomies needed a full branding for their social media, and other print based products. I spoke to the owner and we developed a strong brand identity. From there we went on to develop the branding around a dog walker who loves all dogs.
